INTELLISENSE LEARNING OFFERS CLASSROOM TESTED MATERIALS

IntelliSense Learning has spent seven years creating a class-room tested program that educators are clamoring to secure for their classrooms:

-A supplemental reading program and comprehensive teaching system
-Targets research-based components of effective reading programs (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary).
-Uses imaginative, popular kids theme "special intelligence investigations" to parallel "IntelliSense Language Investigations"
-Provides insights into the processes of reading, writing, and spelling
-A derivative of the Orton Gillingham method of multisensory instruction because it appeals to all students with multiple learning styles
-program provides the means, multisensory methods, and imagination necessary for children to make sense of the alphabetic/language code.
-teaches skills and concepts through pictures, words, and metaphors that give shape and meaning to abstract symbols and ideas
-investigative approach highlights student inquiries and problem solving as a natural focus of the learning process.
-creates efficient multisensory pathways for improved memory, consolidated strorage, and retrieval of the code.
-perceived as fun
-promotes a positive self-image and inspires confidence in childrens' ability to read, write, and spell.
-Methods totally involve a child's eyes, ears, muscles, and mind in a simultaneous process of reading, writing, and spelling
-will train all students to read by explicitly and systematically breaking down the structure of the English language to crack the code
-It is a "thinking students' approach" to begin reading, writing, and spelling.
-Gives students powerful secrets needed to decipher the reading code and the key to unlock the mysteries of words, meaning, and messages
-Auditory training, visual training, and handwriting training all in one program
-designed as a model of prevention/intervention to ensure success for all beginning readers
-involves the whole body to teach letters and sounds by seeing them, hearing them, saying them, and writing them.
-targets phonemic awareness, phonological processing, strategies for listening comprehension, phonics, print awareness, visual tracking, blending strategies, memory strategies, handwriting strategies, fluency strategies, word recognition strategies, reading strategies, and comprehension strategies.
-Using creative images, the program has strong appeal to students who are visual learners.
-Bridges the gap between special education and regular education by providing teacher strategies that can be used with all students.
-encourages parental involvement
-IntelliSense Phonics is the active processing of information via auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic cueing
-provides differentiated instruction to support students at risk and/or accelerate instruction for children who are ready for advanced codes.
-program is comprised of two training levels, "ABC Agents" for students ages 4-7 or in grades pre-k through first grade and "Mission IntelliSense" for ages 7-10 or grades 2-3. Both programs include learning assessments and multisensory games, exercises, activities, student cards, wall cards, workbooks, and other materials combined with a teacher's guide to adapt programs according to curriculum and instructional objectives
